The nice folks from www.txmotofot.com will be present to take photos for the 2 days we have scheduled for the rides on the 3 Twisted Sisters rides. They take great photographs and if you ever wanted an action picture of yourself on your bike you will now have that opportunity. The owners, Kyle and Glenda, will actually be there all week to enjoy some riding when not taking pics so be sure to say hello when you see them.

This years Charitable Donation Recipient will be the Pioneer Museum located in Downtown Fredericksburg. Niki and I toured the Museum when we were down there last and it is well worth the effort. It can be seen in about 45 minutes for the main section and within an hour if you include "The Vereins Kirche", an extension of the Pioneer Museum located just down the street from the main Museum.

This is a great place to learn about the early Texas Hill Country Settlers and the Museum was gracious enough to offer free passes for our members. The free passes will be available at the Venue upon arrival.

The latest numbers I received from the Venue.

Do US citizens need a passport to enter the Republic of Texas?
Is English the official language?
Is there any sauce on the BBQ?
Can riders have open intoxicants while operating their motorcycle?
Is it mandatory to carry a Bowie knife in Texas?
Is it true the city of Slaughter , TX has never had a homicide?
Is a Dr Pepper always served with peanuts inside?
Is it true that, in San Antonio, it's illegal for either sex to flirt or respond to flirtation using the eyes and/or hands?
So many questions....

Just booked my reservations on the phone.
I tried on the internet but It said those dates were full. However the hotel clerk (Tanner) told me if I had put that reference code Triplej mentionned (i.e.:code Shark615) - Those rooms would appear. Seems I'm not the only one to get snagged on that - so Tanner tells me :D
Remember to reference code Shark615 if booking online

Happened to me. The interesting thing is with the code you can only see Monday through Thursday and if you want Friday or Saturday you have to get out of the code....

I'm all booked as well. I missed this year when it was only a couple of hundred miles away, due to a family mishap. Let's see if I can make it next year at over 2400 miles away. Timing, it's all about the timing....
