Default Mobil1 V-Twin 20W-50 4-Cycle Motorcycle Oil

Don't use the Screaming Eagle. This oil is made by Sunco. Harley doesn't manufacture Oil. So Sunco was the cheapest oil that would let Harley tack their name on. I haven't changed the Oil on my RoadGlide Ultra yet as I just bought two weeks ago - used.

I have changed the oil on my 02 Heritage Softail myself and use Mobil1 V-Twin 20W-50 4-Cycle Motorcycle Oil (1 qt.)

Good Video on the site. You can find it at most Auto Parts Stores.

I use a K&N Oil Filter.

I use Amsoil 20/50 in all three (engine, primary, and tranny).

For a filter I use HD. The nut on a K&N is nice but for $6 I went to NAPA and bought a filter wrench that works great.

+1....

hd black oil filter: 8.95
k&n oil filter: 14.95
hd oil filter wrench: 10.95

with the difference in the filter prices, just by buying the hd filters 2x, i have already saved the difference in the k&n..... after the second oil change, it's putting money back in my pocket.

Amsoil or Mobil 1 - never had an issue with either of them.....
