Default True duals vs. 2 into 1 exhaust...

I know the 2 into 1 concept of exhaust is supposed to provide more power compared to dual exhaust concept. I currently have the D&D borzilla 2 to 1 pipes on my shark. Thing is, I eventually want to go with the stretched bags look and would like dual pipes coming outa the rear instead of 1. A single 2 to 1 pipe stickin out the rear with stretched bags I think would look alittle weird. Question: Are there any true dual HIGH OUTPUT exhausts out there that anyone can suggest??? Due to my 117 cubic inch, 120 horsepower engine, I need to stick to a high output exhaust. ...Thanks fer yer input!!!

I would say you need to talk to Frank at Dragos........

I feel the same as you, my bike came with stretch bags and rear fender and two holes cut out for dual pipes. So I definitely wanted two pipes and I battled with the same decision, in the end I went with duals because that's what I like, and because it fit what I was looking for best. I mean what's better than one Dragula muffler........two of them!

But the flip side is I don't have a 120HP build and we all know builds like that can make it or break it based on exhaust.............

+1 give Frank a call. He has 2-1 set ups with a ghost pipe, and true duals. Great guy to do business and his exhaust systems rock.

why don't u stay with the D&D 2-1. Great performance exhaust. I think they offer a ghost pipe.

My buddy has thunderheader 2 into 1 with a false pipe coming out the other side. Looks exactly like a true dual system with the benefit of a 2 into 1.. I would also check with Frank. I've never dealt with him personally but always offers great advice without trying to sell you some shit. Can't say that for all the sponsers on here. Good luck with your search.

Just went from true duals to a 2:1 Dragula. Looks and sounds great. I'm happy with the switch.

If you go to the V&H website, they are about $1300 for the set up. $600 for the duals and $700 for the slip ons.

V & H Power Duals - Black

V & H Hi-Output Slip ons - Black

I'm sure if you shop around you'll find them for less.
