Default paint match for big blue pear

I was thinking about buying a detachable tour pak (used), it is obviously not my color which is bbp. Any issues painting this too match? Thnx

what kind of deal are you getting on the tourpak? is it going to be worth it when you add in the cost of repainting? remember, just because your dealer sells it for $740 ish, doesn't mean that you can't get it cheaper elsewhere, already painted to match.

Right off the top the BBP special effect layer is $250 a pint from PPG, then you need the vivid black for the main base color and clear/activator/reducer. Just the materials to do a proper paint job is going to be $400 or more.

Like I've said, these new exotic HD colors makes painting replacement parts quite spendy!

I did just that. I bought a used black anniversary TP and had it painted BBP. After all was said and done. I probably would have bought a new one painted BBP from the factory.
