I was able to sync with my ZUMO, but the route was broken up into several different routes when imported by ZUMO. Each waypoint is treated like a separate destination and route created for each waypoint instead of one continuous route. Anyone else have this happen?

The short answer, is "Yes." But you know I have a tendency to give longer, more thorough answers.

first, I want to clarify the terms, "Location" and "Waypoint" as used in the Harley Road Planner. A location is created when you r-click on the map and select Add Location or select Add Location on the list at left. When you add a location you enter an address and a numbered, square, call-out is displayed on the map. when you r-click on the map and Add Waypoint, a flag is displayed on the map.

The Ride Planner creates a separate route for each Location-pair. That is from 1-2, 2-3, etc. The way points are included in the route as via points. Each Location is included in the route as via point and as a waypoint tag. The routes end up on the GPS under the Routes button. The waypoints end up under the Favorites button.

What I do is do a Manual export of the data to a gpx file, then edit the gpx file with an XML editor before copying it to the GPS. If you are interested, I can explain editing the gpx file.

2017 FLTRXS, Givi V56 Topcase, Windvest 10", National Cycle Hand Deflectors, Rapid Transit Tank Bag. My last bike was 2014 Triumph Trophy SE. Before that: 2010 FLTRX.

You should have a START [1] and an END [2] anything in between should be a WAYPOINT.

Here's how I do it. If you want to ride certain roads, create a whole bunch of LOCATIONS along the way until you get to your destination. Once you have the route fine tuned, RIGHT CLICK on the LOCATIONS in between the start and end, one at a time starting with [2] and change them to WAYPOINTS.

The waypoints (the more the merrier) prevent the GPS from routing you the way it thinks is the best.

I have a route from Western Illinois to Rapid City South Dakota, that uses 7 roads..... and has 47 waypoints. That keeps the GPS from wanting to use roads that I don't want to use..

I like SD44 and my GPS likes I90.... so the waypoints keep me on SD44 and the nice scenery and away from the interstate in South Dakota. It allows my to pick and choose the interstates that I DO want to use, without turning them off in the settings.

If your route is a multi-day trip, at the end of the day, DO NOT hit STOP. Just let the GPS power down when you stop for the night (or breaks, including meals) .... When you fire the bike back up, the GPS knows it's still on the route, and just takes up where it left off.

I did 3900 miles in a 5 state loop last summer this way, and the GPS never missed a turn.

Yes, the overall plan is broken up in to separate plans, but not by way-points, but by destination (the numbered locations that you enter when making the plan). The file names are the name of the overall plan with a 1, 2, 3, etc. at the end of the plan name. What I do is bring up each individual plan on the GPS before taking the trip and rename each, so I know which plan is for which part of the trip by its new name.
