Midwest Gliders- Chime in with good camping/cheap hotel suggestions!

Fellow Gliders,
I will be making my first trip to Sturgis this year (29 days, 16 hours, 24 minutes from now, but who's counting? ).
I am riding solo from North Carolina and looking for nice campgrounds or clean, low-cost hotels in the following (very general) locations:
Somewhere around Cincinnati
Somewhere around Milwaukee (might as well see HD HQ on this trip)
Somewhere around Sioux Falls

Priorities are just safe, clean, quiet. Do not need many amenities. I will be camping at Sturgis of course, so camping on the way is not a big deal.

Appreciate any suggestions from locals of these areas, or from others who have traveled a similar route before.

Cheers!
Ian

I haven't camped here yet, but it is on my list and has good reviews. http://crazy4camping.com/campsite-re...d-harrison-oh/
A little further northwest is Brookville indiana, 2 state park campgrounds that are very nice. They are not near the interstate, but 52 is a much nicer ride and can easily be incorporated into your route. I have camped at both.

Jack the Bagger JTB and myself are both members. I have found good info and guidance there.
If you're route takes you through Richmond indiana, there is a nice KOA right off I70 that we used several times during our racing years.

Great suggestions Motofan! Thanks very much. I also really like the crazy4camping site. Had not found that before and it has a lot of great information. I appreciate it.

There is a nice camping area on the 275 loop around Cincinnati The campground is actually in Indiana and there is a Hollywood casino at the same exit. I have not actually camped there, but it seems to be very popular. Unless you have a specific reason to travel through downtown Cincinnati, I would not suggest at this time. The construction and all day traffic is a major PIA.
