Wind River Canyon, Wyoming

Check out this video I shot yesterday in Wyoming. That's my brother in law on his e-glide in front of me. The lighting in the tunnels made for an unexpected, but kind of cool effect. The interesting stuff is right at the front of the video, the rest of it is just the scenery in the canyon.

Cheers. -Jay

Made that run back in 2008. It doesn't seem to be well known, but it is a great ride. Thanks for the video. I got to get back there.

That is really cool, the light exiting the tunnel looks like something off of Star Trek.

Where do you have the camera mounted?

Jay, great video, yes at the tunnels it looks like you were going to warp speed. Hey, I just want to say thanks again for the instructions about getting around Wichita back in June. We passed through that area with no issues.

We have rode Wind River Canyon twice, once in 05, high winds and light rain.

We rode it again in 10, nice sunny day, perfect weather and a great ride.

Nice vid, I am wanting to get a video camera to mount on the bike too.

Can you post some info and picks of how you have it mounted? That is mostly what has been holding me back. Not sure how to mount on the RG.

Thanks

Tom

That vid brings back great memories. I've ridden that stretch between Shoshone and Thermopolis 3 or 4 times, the last in 2010.

One thing that amazes me is going south from Thermopolis, you're very obviously going down hill but the water in the river appears to be running uphill. The whitewater is uphill of the rocks. I know it's impossible, but it really does a mind f--- on you when you look at it.
