Your "cool joint" to ride to

LETS SEE ONE OF YOUR FAV COOL JOINT:
In PA just east of Pittsburgh - SHORTY'S. Wow. The menu is on a blackboard. Linoleum floors. wood booths. Counter service too. Old signs from original opening. The chili dogs are better in Cincinnati but not bad here! DOOF

The Forge in this little hole in the wall town, Ben Wheeler, about 1 1/2 hours from my house is a great little joint which draws a lot of bikers every weekend.

The other place a lot go is in another little town the opposite direction about 1 1/4 hours away is called Big Slicks in Westminster Texas. Great burgers and cold beer.

Ojos Locos (Crazy Eyes) in Jemez Springs. The Gilman Tunnels are on the way. Always a cool place to ride to and see. Great food and hospitable mountain folk.

It's a 17 mile ride from my doorstep. Perfect for a shakedown cruise after wrenching!

Deadwood Tobacco, Deadwood, SD

925 miles from home, I ride 3 times a year, but I'm not much for riding across town for a burger and beer and calling it a ride.

Overtime pays more because of what you're missing, money isn't everything.

Love that place(Deadwood Tobacco). Both trips to Sturgis we stayed in Deadwood. We spent many a night in there.

Ahhhh, Cooks, all you can eat spaghetti Wednesdays. Been going there since I was 16 (52 now) I remember when there were times you didn't pull in there on your Japanese bike cause the 1%'ere were so thick. But back then I always had no problem with my Kawi H2 750 (2 stroke triple) there cause even the most die hard Harley bikers still thought it was cool. Probably cause it was so loud and had a bad ass reputation.

Also don't forget Hells Kitchen on Ortega Hwy....great place to ride too.....
