Talimena

I'm hoping to explore the Talimena Scenic Byway in either April or May. I know it's only 54 miles long but are there other don't miss roads, restaurants, watering holes or attractions around there?

Thanks a lot

Sweet. We have that ride planned for when im home on leave. My birthday is May 18th and we will be making the trip then. Ofcourse Mena is only about 2 hours from me though. I have only been up there once and it was on my rocket so i cant really help you on where to stop and hang out cause we were kindof going fast. haha We will be on my newly rebuilt RGU this time though. post some pics when you get done.

The lodge on the mountain has a good restaurant. I recommend the hamburger. You won't be disappointed.

^^This is correct but some buddies made that trip a few weekends ago and the Lodge was still closed due to remodeling it.

Is there a restaurant in the area called the Hateful Hussy or something like that or am I thinking of somewhere else?
