First trip on 13 RGU

Memorial week we will be going to Mt Rushmore from Kansas City Mo. From there to the badlands then back to KC. Any must see things other than the presidents.

Mostly just an excuse to go on the new bike.

Iron Mountain Road. If going to Devils Tower, just outside of Sundance on the way is a fire tower on Warrens Peak that offers some great views.

Welcome to the forum. All good suggestions so far. Rushmore and Devil's tower were a couple of my favorites. Didn't care much for Crazy horse, I was disappointed in it. Lots of good riding up there. Stop in at Rapid city Harley and pick up a riding map of the area. we did the wild bear tour just outside Rapid City, where they drive you around in a open side bus and the animals are just wondering around. Really a great area. You'll want to go back for Sturgis. I've never seen so many bikes in my life. Quite an experience.

We have decided to extend the ride and go to Yellowstone after Mt Rushmore. Is there any must see things between them.

Almost to a thousand miles on the new bike and could'nt be happier with the decision to buy it.
