As far as I can remember, the writer touched on everything I enjoy and feel about motorcycling; the one thing he didn't mention his priest friend did. For me riding is also a very spiritual thing, but I think a lot of that ties back in to "being in nature". We live in an artificial world; boxed in by 2x4's, concrete blocks, and bricks and mortar. Being in nature awakens the senses, relieves tension, and allows us to see that something(one) much greater than us is in control. I for one, find great solace in that last fact.
