WI IL KY MO IOWA WI Road TRIP

Whew! glad i got that title^^^ figured out. First trip on the 13 shark. depart madison area wi to illinois to paducah then Staying in Paducah then back to wi via Missouri staying in Hannibal. Has Hannibal settled down as far as the noise and hassel thing? granted I am running stock equiptment but do not need the hassel. After that heading back to WI. what is a good place to eat in Paducah and also Hannibal? Going to ride along the river as much as possible. But i know there are areas i will be away from the river. thanks for any ideas.

Sounds like a fun trip. When we stay in Hannibal we eat at Lula Belle's in the historic part of town, within walking distance of the best western. I think its on bird st.

Whalers Catch or Jeremiah's are both good places in Paducah.

On your ride to Missouri, Check out 17th Street Bar and Grill in Southern IL. Great BBQ.

Fiddlesticks is a good place in Hannibal. It's out Highway 36, by the Hospital, in front of the Quality Inn. Stay at the Best Western, it is downtown where you can park the bike and walk to all the Mark Twain stuff.

In theory, Theory and Reality are the same. In reality, they are different.

Iowa

If in Iowa.. go to Clear Lake and visit the Surf Ball Room.

If you are an oldies rock and roll aficionado, the Surf is where Buddy Holly played his last concert. It is like stepping back in time. Very cool. The crash site isn't too far either.

Ride safe,

Less than a half hour from Paducah on I 24 is a place called Patties 1880s Settlement. The biggest, best most tender pork chop in the world.
