Day trips from St. George

I'll be heading to St George in mid October and since everyone here was just there if you would provide info for day trips that would be great.

I don;t care how many miles it is but i will be there for near a week so I can probably do 3 separate days trips. I like to put the miles on so a 500 or 600 mile a day route is no problem at all. Obviously Bryce and Zion are on the list, but beyond that I know little about the area.

Still sorting out lodging but I'll probably stay at the Lexington as well.

Thanks in advance

Drew

The following thread shows the rides that we set up for SW III.

If you're willing to spend little more time and go a little farther, it's highly recommended that you travel up Highway 12 through Boulder and Escalante. We really wanted to do these for SW, but the distance was just a little too much to get a large group up and back within a day. On your own, it's doable.

PM me if you want the original files for those rides - much more legible.

What if the Hokey-Pokey really is what it's all about?
