Might be a dumb question but how do you get the seat on? And what years will they fit? I have an 08

Remove seat. Install back rest bracket. Install seat. Slide backrest thru slot into mounting bracket. I think that style is universal......MAY be for 09 & up?? Pipe will need to answer that one.....

I was always curious lol. And I'm taking a trip from Gettysburg to Tennessee this summer and was looking at getting one.

I had similar set up on my 03. It was on the bike when I bought it. Buddy wanted it more than I did.

It has 3 separate holes for and will fit any bagger. And Jet is correct ya bolt the bracket on then put seat on and then slide the rest through the hole in the seat and into the bracket. Actually very easy to do. Here's a pic with seat off ImageUploadedByMO Free1422334117.923966.jpg

Its fixed but the bracket is adjustable
