Focal IC 165 with 5.25 to 6.5 adapters

upgraded my amp and speakers on Elvira.

I have a used set of Focal IC 165 speakers with 5.25" to 6.5" adapters for sale.

These speakers were pushed by a Arc 125 amp and sounded pretty good.

$75.00 shipped

When did you purchase the speakers? Is the amp included as well?

The speakers are about a year old, the trike was ridden for less than 800 miles from installation of the amp and speakers to when I bought it and pulled them out

I own a small MC audio company called No Cage Audio and installed one of my high end systems to use as my Demo

The amp is sold

Would these work well with just the head unit powering them?

These are pretty efficient speakers, and will sound a lot better than stock speakers, (in the parking lot). They are rated at 5-70 watts RMS power range.

They are designed more for stock head units and small amps like the Arc 125 that was pushing them.

If your planning on adding a amp later then this would be a good upgrade. If not, I am not sure it is worth the money and effort.

These speakers are going to be a better quality sound, but without an amp, I am not sure you are going to notice a difference at speed (60-80 MPH) because of the distortion the wind does to the sound waves.

Even a small amp makes a huge difference at 60-80 MPH
