New Baker Compensator

SOLD!

Brand new never installed latest version of the Baker compensator. After discussing with my dyno tuner I have decided to stick with my Vulcanworks sprocket.

$400 shipped to the lower 48.

Also have a used Baker Attitude primary chain tensioner. The nylon pad does show a slight bit of wear, but not much. $100 shipped

I always post here first before going to that other forum. If you are on the fence act soon. I will be posting these on there this weekend and fairly certain these will both disappear quickly.

I wish you had been selling this when i bought mine, i would have loved to have been able to save over a couple hundred bucks on this compensator and chain tensioner. If someone is in the market to change over to a Baker, this is a good deal.

It's an easy install. You might have to have the crankshaft sleeve milled .030" or so to align the chain so it rides on the gears within tolerance. I sent my piece back to Baker and mark sent me the corrected piece back. Just a few days and i was back on the road. Just follow the instructions and no problems.

The instructions from Baker detail how to measure for the chain alignment. You will need a dial caliper if you do not have one. HD has sprocket spacers if needed. Chances are you would not need one, but every bike is going to probably measure a little different. If the measurement at the comp is within .030" of the measurement at the clutch sprocket you are good to go.

Running the baker tensioner on my 13. Really prefer a manual adjuster and this is a good one.
