I noticed the biggest difference when riding aggressively. There was definitely a more "connected" feel to the rear wheel.
Even riding more casually though there was a different feel but hard to describe. More "connected" is all I come up with.
More like riding a Dyna with a bolt on sprocket.
In any case it is subtle especially if your stock dampener is still in good shape.

Took it off because this winter's project is a chain conversion.
