Alberta Meet & Greet In Red Deer

Hey All,

There will be a gathering of sharks in Red Deer, Alberta. Sunday, August the 25th. Come meet other RG owners, also see and sign the RG.Org Flag

Our objective is to get all the Alberta shark owners together in one place to show your bikes and share your stories.

If your from somewhere other than Alberta but can make it to Red Deer please feel free to stop by. The meet will take place between 10 am and 2 pm at Gasoline Alley HD. This is an open invite to all RG.Org members, RG non members, and those you ride with even if they don't ride a RG.

Calgaryglide/Troy has managed to wrestle the RG.Org flag away from our US members and smuggle it back across the border. That's right folks the RG.Org flag is back in Canada and will be there. Take this opportunity to come sign the flag it may be a while before its north of the 49th again.

I believe there will be a Southern, AB group meeting at the Costco gas station in Balzac for the ride north. Your more than welcome to meet us there around 8:00-8:30 and leave about 9:00.

If your from Northern, AB and wish to meet up for the ride south please do. It's a great chance to meet and ride with RG's in your area.

This meet is only two weeks away so I hope it gives everyone enough lead time to make it. Let's hope for a great day and a large meet. See you in Red Deer.

Join the rest of our Canadian members in the North of 49 social group on RG.Org.

Best Regards Maddog69

It is marked on my calandar and I will do my best to make it. Just got back from Sturgis this weekend and just prior to that returned from a 8,000 km trip down the west coast through California and back through Nevada so I'm back to work and trying to get caught up on some rest. Red Deer is a good mid-way point for most. Cheers

That's a few miles on the glide.

Please comment and purpose your meeting spot for the ride.
I'm trying to get an estimate on the number of guys showing up.

I spoke with the guys at Gasoline Alley. They said they'll be happy to have us meet at their shop.

Please sound off if your going to make this meet.

Thanks.

Oh ya don't be afraid to bring your girl. My girl is thinking about starting a support group for wives and girlfriends of road gliders. Ha ha

We'll be meeting at the Balzac Costco for the ride up around 8:00-8:30.
Hope to meet you and your girl.

Working on it.

Just got back from 3200 Km through MT, ID, and Wash. Gonna see if Mrs wants to come.

Great to see some other Glides and meet some great folks.

John,

It was a pleasure to meet you and Lorraine. i love your bike, especially the rear light mod. I am seriously considering adding that to mine.

I won't be going to Edmonton for the races this year. There is another member here that is heavily involved in those races, he might even be the track announcer, I can't remember exactly.

Weather permitting I would like organize a ride on the first Sunday of October. Maybe do the Highwood pass loop, the color and scenery should be fantastic then.

Regards,

Calgaryglide, aka Troy
