While I loved it in my teens and 20's.......I don't partake any more as it just makes me feel......well, I just don't like how it makes me feel anymore. But my girl is going through some long term nerve pain issues and she just can't smoke it. Makes her way paranoid like some of you mentioned. So this friend of hers who is a medicinal MJ advocate and delivers the stuff to people says to her "you HAVE to try CBD oil!!!!" Talked it up like some kind of miracle cure.

OK, anything to get her off the oxycodones, so we took her advice and bought a couple different ones.

Sorry but not a single one made a damn bit of difference. Honestly I'm not surprised. I mean, bud.......and alcohol have ZERO pain reliving properties for me. Maybe for some but not for me. Or her.

My suggestion is try it for yourself......just don't spend a whole bunch.....try a sample or something and see if it helps.

Oh yeah, she also tried about 5 different types of Kratom. Herbal powder......she's on a forum and they're all just talking it up. Does nothing for her. Sigh.

It probably is not going to be able replace oxycodone, a combination of THC & CBD with all the other possible terpenes might make a difference but I doubt that it would totally replace oxycodone.

DR prescribes me oxycodone and I don't like taking them. I go for days and even weeks without taking them if I can tolerate the pain but there are times the pain is so bad I have to take them and then I have to suffer from the side effects. Thc/cbd edibles work the best for me in most instances and makes it possible to only take opiates once in awhile so I don't get hooked.

the problem with cbd stems from our arcane laws. it all has to be imported so it is expensive. then there is the problem with standardization. some oils say a certain percentage, when it doesn't even come close to that, or way more than that.

if you want to try it, research the company as best you can. you don't want to buy it from some fly by night.

and also, be aware that it depends on the root cause of your pain. it isn't just a blanket relief like pain pills. I have a friend and it works great for her. but my wife, not so much.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.
