Installing ABS System

Not sure if this is the right place for this but... here goes...
I have an '08 FXRT Ultra that I got off at over 100 mph when a deer decided to stop right in front of me. The bike was trashed for the most part but the engine (well built) was intact so I bought it from the ins. co. That bike also had ABS braking.
I now have an '08 Anniversary Edition but it doesn't have the ABS system. Has anyone ever installed the ABS system on a non-ABS bike? How extensive is it? I'm thinking that, aside from some creative wiring into the stock harness, it should be a bolt off-bolt on job.
Any input?
Thanks...
Brewster...

I asked the dealer the same question, he sad , buy a bike with ABS.
Sinse you have the parts off the same year bike , it should be just swapping out parts and CPU.

If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

The ECM should be fine, it'll just need to have a "turn-on" update. The wiring may even be there. Much of what Harley offers is already in the harness, just not used. I haven't looked yet for ABS related. There is a separate harness diagram for with and without ABS. That's not encouraging.
Has anyone done this?

The dealer told me I needed a new CPU. I never researched it past his words tho. He was just a parts mgr. So he could have been blowing smoke.

Dealer told me if you want ABS. Buy a bike with it on there. They gave me a ballpark quote of $4000 if I wanted to add it later.

Trust me, if there was a way to add ABS to a non ABS bike in a way that was anywhere close to economically viable for the dealer and the rider, they would offer a kit and a service.
