Pulling motor covers

About ready for my next project - swapping out the chrome motor covers for black. Already did the primary (pretty easy, if messy), so it's time to tackle the right side and rocker boxes. Anyone got any advice? Any tricks to swapping the rocker boxes? And is there any way I DON'T need to completely disassemble the exhaust system to get at the cam cover and tranny side cover?

If you look at one of the cam change threads it should tell you how to take off the rocker covers. I don't know if there is one here but the HD forum has one. It's a lot of work and some of the bolts are hard to get at. As far as I know the exhaust has to come off also.
