Handle Bar change out

I have '13 CVO RG stock bars are 8" 1 1/4 and I want to go to the 10" 11/4 bars. Dealership says that they don't have a 10" flat black bar. They want me to use the one that requires a new riser to accommodate the 1" portion of the bar that goes in the risers. I'm looking for answers. The stock bar look is what I'm after but with a 10".
Question .... is there a flat black full 11/4" bar out there?

If not how difficult is it to change out the risers?
Does the whole fairing need to be taken off?

Thanks in advance. Dave

There are several videos on youtube on removing the faring. As for bars, the aftermarket has plenty in the style you are looking for without having to add risers.

Handle bars installation not difficult at all if have mechanical skills. Lots of post and info here do your research.
As for bars go check Wild 1 have 10" on 1 1/4" reduced to 1" so fit your raiser clamp. Satin Black or chrome also many others to chose from.
Good luck.

Look at bars for a softtail or Dyna. I put a set of 16" Fat Apes on my bike and had to change the risers to 1 1/4. Since you already have 1 1/4 risers their are a bunch of H-d bars you can use, it doesn't have to be for a RG.
