They have to be adjusted with the weight of the rider and the preload set to how the rider rides. It is probably set at the factory for the full passenger/cargo weight which would put the low beam higher and further down the road.

Mine was so low you would have had to pop a wheelie or have a 1500 pound passenger for the light to illuminate the road. No excuse for letting a bike leave a dealership like that. If they need the riders weight than they should adjust it with the rider on it before they release the bike. They did neither! With that being said they have treated me fairly well on everything else.

I couldn't see the beam on my 19 I had to look over and down to see where it was hitting the road. I fixed it. But I shouldn't have to move it that much.
