Want to Change From DOT4 to DOT5

Greetings From Arthur Ontario...

I have a 2005 RG and it has a Hydraulic Clutch that is DOT5 . I am installing Chrome Brake and Clutch Reservoirs and new line for Front brakes. My question is this can I use rubbing alcohol to FLUSH system ....Denaturalized Alcohol is not available here I have tried ....

rubbing alcohol has lots of water in it , so I would say no

"some say" flushing DOT3 or 4 with 5 will purge all the 3 or 4 out with no issues

true or no ??
