Warranty Question

My starter is going out on my 2012 Road Glide. I was planning on throwing it up on the lift and beginning the tear down this weekend to avoid paying for the labor but then thought I'd ask about the warranty. I have the extended warranty through 2019 - any ideas?

Look at your extended warranty and see what it covers, or even easier call you dealer. Starter could possibly be considered a ware item and might not be covered. The warranty reads "most Major components" are covered.

Definitely contact the dealer. Last spring my 2004 V-Rod had the water pump go out. My ESP had expired a year before so I figured I would have to pay. However they replaced it and told me it was covered by warranty....Not sure what warranty they were referring to, but I was good with paying 0.00
