Clutch Question.

My clutch action travel play takes much to long engage when releasing the lever. The small range between engage and fully engage makes it to complex to feather, especially with a passenger. The Cable adjustment is correct, and I wondering if changing to a heavy duty clutch spring will improve it or do I need to readjust the clutch at the basket.

I have a hydraulic clutch and put on some adjustable levers. Changed that sweet spot for me. Pretty sure it would work the same on a cable.

When you adjust your clutch do you use 1/2 or 3/4 turn. Try experimenting with that. When I had a cable clutch i generally went with 3/4.
Then adjust the cable to give you your required free play.
