Transmission shifting

Does anyone have issues with their 1-2 shift or have some clunking going to other gears whether it's up or down? The reason I ask this is I have been noticing more and more that I have some clunking while changing gears and I especially get some resistance on the 1-2 shifts. Finding neutral doesn't seem to be any different now than any other time. I am running Redline Shockproof and the clutch has been adjusted according to the service manual. 2015 Stage 1 only is all that is done. Also any input on clutch upgrades when going with a cam (57H)?
Thank you all!

How much slack do you have in your clutch cable at the lever? There are a couple of ways to adjust the clutch at the basket. Also i have heard of some people adjusting the clutch adjusting screw 1/2-3/4 turns to get the adjustment they want.

I am running the 57h cams and i went to the SE clutch spring and it is working great with only slightly more pull on the lever.

I do not recall the amount of slack the manual calls for, but that is what I adjusted it to as well as making the adjustment to the clutch basket per the manual. Maybe 1/8" slack it called for, i'll have to double check the manual. I rode a friends 2016 before and after I installed his apes this past weekend and his shifts incredibly smooth with zero clanking, but then again it has just under a 1000 miles on it too.

Man, you got me on that one! I was thinking about my 2012 with it's adjustments and let that interfere with my questions especially after replying to Dragon Dudes response and seeing he has a 2013. I flipped back to working on my 2012 and went with it without even thinking about it. You are so correct, my '15 has hydraulic. Sorry for the confusion, but thanks for pointing this out.

Ya ya I figured out my error, this is what happens when you work on too much shit and stop thinking. Say, don't you have another bike to go buy?

Have you looked to see whether your gear shift linkage is in good order?
