Weird sound after fluid change

I changed all fluids at the 60k mark. Mobil 1 in the case, and Red Line in the trans and primary. While out riding, I down shifted coming up on a stop sign, and did a little "jake brake". When I let out the clutch, I heard a weird chirping sound coming from down below. I haven't been able to pinpoint the location yet. I don't want to keep doing it, in fear that I may be damaging something. Just wondering if anybody else has heard this noise. Bike is an 05. Thanks for any help.

Have you checked your primary chain tightness? Didn't they still use the manual adjust one in 05 ?

Honestly, I didn't even think about checking the chain. I'll do that Friday morning after work. Thanks!

If you let the clutch out fast, the chirp could be the clutch plates. Yes that would be excessive wear or hot spot on the clutch. But I wouldn't stop using motor braking, just let the clutch out easy going down the gears just like you would going up the gears.

Thank you. So, I had been using all Harley fluids up until this last service, and changed to Red Line. I never heard any noise until the fluid change. A different fluid would do this?

Sometimes it could be your belt, gets dirty, next time you wash your bike , scrub the pulley and rinse, see if the noise is still there. flhman

Damn. I just washed it. Lol! Guess I can pull the one bag and just wash that part really quick to see if it cures my dilemma. Thanks.
