Dyno tuners in Central Florida

Anyone know of a dyno tuner in Central Florida that doesn't charge an arm and leg for a tune?

I checked with Doc over in Minneola and he wants 425.00 for a tune.

I saw several tuners at Daytona that were doing them for 300.00 and guess I probably should have done one.

I had no idea that it would be that expensive for some mapping done... I went to MMI way back in the day and we did them for FREE... LOL...

Mike.

Doc has a great reputation as one of the best tuners in this part (if not the whole) of the country. That is not to say there are not other good tuners out there.

He does spend a lot of time tuning your bike until it's "being all it can be"

The only reason I didn't go with him is that he only uses TTS Mastertune and I wanted to go another route

Doc may be a little more, but he is good and local to you. If you should have any issues, at least he's there. The others may be less, but who you going to call next week..... I probably would have gone with Doc, but just like many others I don't have TTS.

I am using the Power Commander V on my bike and want to make sure whoever I go to can make a map for it.

The Bike week $300 price is probably because it's bike week and they'll turn out more tunes at that price, not to mention they have other dyno vendors to compete with. For me it's a no brainer and I'd take it to Doc, yes he may charge more, but his reputation is worth it combined with the peace of mind that will come with it.

Sarasota is a bit of a drive, but if it is worth the trip for a good tune and savings who knows...

I don't doubt that Doc is a great tuner. He has been doing it for a long time. I also went to MMI way back in the day but did the Suzuki side of things. I know they have a dyno there as I tuned my TL-1000R on it. I guess after doing it for free there so many times I thought it was going to be relatively inexpensive...
