Ignition switch

On my 2011 Glide my ignition switch is getting really sticky to turn ( not the key tumbler ) . What does everyone recommend to lube it up with. Spray some penetrating oil in first to free it up ? Then use something else to lube it ?

Hawwk, have you taken it apart to make sure that nothing is binding it?

Yes I have. I have the alignment tool in it and it still feels dry. Thats why was wondering what lube to spray in it

I would use a silicon spray lube, something that doesn't leave a sticky residue.

Some times just putting some silicon grease on the stem makes them feel better.

But if it's the actual switch, it'll be hard to get it lubed up. And its a bit of a chore to change it out.

I blew it out with air and sprayed some brake clean in it. I sprayed some silicone spray lube in it and it feels a lot better. Thanks everyone for your comments
