Changing out Saddlebag hardware

How difficult is it to change out saddlebag hardware for 2013 Roadglide. Getting new bags and want to use my original hardware. Don't know if it's easier just to buy new ones installed with the new bags

Thank you

If you are mechanically inclined it's not too difficult just a bit time-consuming.
There are a lot of small screws and nuts so you have to be careful not to drop them.
I did my 2012 Custom and they are holding up well.
Don't forget the Loctite.

FYI the service manual says saddlebag hardware is very easy to cross thread. Just be careful.

You can get new hardware on eBay for $89-$99 if you don't want to remove your old stuff.

I did mine last fall and it wasn't too bad. Like others have said little time consuming and tedious but you do save some coin that you can spend on other goodies.
