How to remove right side lower switch housing

I've taken the upper switch housing off and want to remove the lower switch housing. I'm replacing the switch covers.

Have the service manual, but don't think it's really clear.

Do I have to remove the front master cylinder clamp to remove the lower housing?

Hope someone gets this tonight who can help, would like to get this job finished.
