Saddlebag support broke...weld or replace

Went for a ride yesterday, got back and noticed my saddle bag support broke where it connects to the exhaust. Would it be safe to get it welded back together or replace it? Not sure if it is hollow tube or solid chrome...

If replace, anyone have right side for sale?

The supports are hollow. Is your bike still under warranty? If your bike is still under warranty I would take the bike to the dealer and see what they would say. You have any pics of the break?

I just talked to a gentleman in North Carolina this weekend that has an 09 CVO RG and he has had the same problem, not just once but twice. The metal at the exhaust bracket is a thinner and lighter metal than the rest of the bracket. He ended up having to fabricate a seperate piece of metal and weld it in.

you got more punishment in store. Stand it
