The chest mount harness works well for minimal vibration. It may or may not get the camera high enough to actually see much of the road. The solid back for the housing will cut down on wind noise while still allowing some sound to be recorded.

WAWA miss those, wish they had them out here in AZ. Been tossing around the idea of getting a Gopro fro hunting, riding, etc. wife says go for it, got the points for a free one but don't know if I'd rather put points towards flat screen?

Do you have any vids with it mounted on the engine guard? I have been toying with the idea of mounting one there and worried about excessive wind noise.. I was thinking about some how mounting or forming some plexiglass around the sound receiver to try and keep it quite... Just a thought..

Ram makes great looking mounts for the Go Pro cameras. I have a standard holder when one was mounted on my FatBoy. The Road Glide is a challenge. I will miss the center mounted, no windshield view of the camera on the FB, especially with the reflections from the chrome headlight housing.

Next week, I figure out how to mount it on the Glide.

Take a look:

I picked up a bunch of different Ram Mounts.
On the handle bars i used a 6" extension to get over the windshield and at a stop it vibrates like hell.
I'll have to stretch the U bolt to fit the engine guard ,the mounts i ordered only fit up to 1 1/4" bars.
Tomorrow is helmet cam day............

One more from the saddle bag guard.

A couple of things:

Your video was cool. The bike looks and sounds great. Is that Sedona Orange? Candy Orange? Can't tell...

Can you mount the camera higher up on the bars without a 6" extension? Would that help?

The Ram X Grip seems to hold your phone perfectly tight. I just picked one up but have not tried it yet. Some have said that the phones shift quite a bit with their X grip.
