Road King Mastery

Occasionally the youtube recommends a video that is exactly the kind of video I love to watch. Contrast these guys to the last video I posted.

Vancouver Police Motorcycle Drill Team:

Some idiot on a chopper (skip to 4:30 to see him ride it):

Made me a nervous wreck watching him. Those bars look incredibly uncomfortable and poorly placed for maneuvering!

There are some amazing videos of police officers demonstrating their riding skills, but it still bugs me that they ride side-by-side in one lane.

Happiness is a warm motorcycle.

The moto cops are trained to be able to lay frame any and all the time if necessary. Its really amazing to see their control of a bike both in low and high speed situations. I know they even have "slow" competitions where they basically take the bike and keep it upright for a timed period while barely letting it travel forward.

Look on YouTube for Japan motorcycle police test. Those guys are on sport bikes and are just a n amazing credit to their training.
