Change 2
I changed mine to a heavy breather. Not too sexy, but I like it better than the ventilator.

No way they are worth what I am seeing.. These are airplane parts prices, without the liability. I just don't get it. Why are they so damned expensive. The parts involved, would come no where near that price, so my guess is they are gouging us.
I'm with you 100% on this. It's pretty much one of the main reasons why I went with the S&S product. It was the cheapest for the most style, about $220. But, I would put the quality of that product up against any of the others costing double or more.

I totally agree, I'm not going to pay $400 for an aircleaner. No matter how pretty it is. I have been a loyal S&S guy for many years (went to Viola High School after all) and will stand any of their products up head to head with anything else out there. And they look pretty sexy to boot I will be going with an S&S Stealth again, with an Airstream (newly designed "tear drop") cover to help eliminate some of the sand and rain. The winds out here can really pack some sand in an oiled filter.

IMHO The Screaming Eagle Ventilator is still one of the best looking intakes one the market and at $239.00 it's in a acceptable price range. The big choice is color.

As soon as I get my penny's together my set up will be a ventilator, Fuel Moto E-Series Mufflers, there coated s/s pipe. I just cant make up my mind to go black or chrome.

Hey Texas Rapier, are you interested in my old one? It's got about 5,000 miles on it.

That might be the coolest looking one I have seen yet. But, as stated earlier, the price is just stupid.
