CVO muffler question 2017-2018
Will the CVO muffler/slipons fit the 2018 Road Glide Special? Same size mounting ID?

From what I have been told....no changes in from 2017 to 2018 regarding exhausts other than color choice meaning a 2017 CVO Slip will fit a 2018 Exhaust - I asked myself but the other way around......would a 2018 CVO Exhaust (LOVE the one on the Black Earth edition) fit my 2017 RGS and was told yes

Seems like the best way to go... get the CVO slipons and install the Fullsac CVO recore kit. Then, you can easily re-install the stock baffle cores if you need to go to the dealership.

I have the black earth. Other than the tips, the exhaust color on the bike is heat shield. I was able to change my stock pipes and keep the stock look.
2018 CVO Road Glide, Black Earth/Vivid Black
Fuel Moto Road & Track 2 into 1, Fuel Moto custom K & N Air Cleaner, Redshift 468 cam, Power Vision.

I'm a little lost on this one, what is black earth? And the color on the bike is heat shields?

Yes an FP3 auto tuned, cat removed and intake w K&N filter. Mine is a 2016 Road Glide.

Black Earth is the name of the Color Scheme on one of the 2018 CVO Models and it appears that the exhaust itself is chrome and the Heat Shields are what posses the color

correct, the stock mufflers are chrome. They have heat sheilds that have the color as seen on the bike. I call it raw/bronze look.
