Exhaust, Intake, ECM

Guys,

I'm purchasing a 2018 RGS (today!!), been on a Fatboy for the past 17 years ready for the comforts of the touring bike as my Bad boy days are behind me (plus I demo rode one last year for a weekend...yeah hooked)

I'm going to keep it stock engine wise till I ride it a bit into the spring/summer, wondering what the best option for a tuner is as I don't want the SE crap.

Looking to do the D&D Billet Cat 2-to-1 Exhaust and S&S Instake. I'm not new to Harley but new to the latest and greatest Technology and M8 engine as my old TC88 is strictly set up to make as much noise as possible looking to do more for performance reliability on this machine.

Thanks in advance

I take it that the S&S in a hi flow air cleaner not a manifold.

TTS Mastertune. Steve will most likely have a tune for your set up to get you started. From what I've seen a good dyno will get you an additional 5% trq and hp more.

You can't go wrong with any of the reputable tuners that you're going to hear about.... a lot depends on what you want to do. Set it and forget it? Vance and Hines FP3 or a Dynojet Power Commander V..... something a little more advanced that most dyno tuners use? I'd go with a Dynojet Power Vision... either route you go, it's worth checking out FuelMoto- you can buy the tuner AND they will also provide a tune for you with the purchase. I haven't used them personally, but I hear their customer service is top notch and they are very helpful around the forum, which means a lot to me as a potential customer!

Congrats on the upgrade and let us know what you choose!!!!
