sorry, nothing from acm will ever come near my bike.

i've seen too many issues from people who have bought from them and had problems. if your transaction goes okay, you may have gotten a good price. but, if you have an issue, god help you. the guy will call you every thing from a 3rd grade dropout, moron, retard, or terrorist, and everything in between that you can think of.

no thanks. don't need that kind of grief.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

Are they American Classic or American Custom. I know American Custom uses stock HD slipons and modify them. They also remove the CAT from the stock HD headers and modify them as well.
They sound great and are an affordable choice compared to the BIG named brands.

Every time I've ever tried to do something on the cheap I've always regretted it and it cost me more to undue it. Hope it works for those who go that route I'm not so lucky.

I ran EBay slip ons (B&E Superflows) on my FLHT for a decade after 2 pair of aftermarket mufflers yellowed and blued. Same concept as American CUSTOM Motors, re-cored factory slip-ons. Whatever the MOCO does to keep them from bluing, it works. Ended up buying a set of recores for the Shark but don’t plan on installing them until I’m clear of the warranty. Or maybe until after my 1k check. We’ll see.

Almost. I have the DNA plain black slip ons without the cheese grater on the end. They are CFR copies and sound great. I had the chrome ones on my 2010 and loved them, so ordered the black ones for my all blacke RGS. I couldn’t help but laugh when a sales guy came up to me at the dealer enthusiastically asking me what pipes I had on my bike and even said CFR? I said sorta kinda not really and told him what they were. He then proceeded to tell me, “ they sound great, whatever they are”. For $185 I couldn’t be happier!
