2013 Harley Davidson FLTRX
Urethane muffler mounts
Anyone know where to get urethane muffler mounts? I bought a set off e bay but cannot find them again. Rubber ones squeak. These lasted 50k. Thanks

I install new rubber bushings and coat the metal bar on both sides that attaches to the muffler with a light coating of silicone tire gel. It keeps the rubber soft and they hold up well without the dreaded squeak. Just don't use much tire gel. You don't want that getting on the mufflers and burning onto them.
