Leave it alone?

Does anyone ride a black FLTRU, Rushmore or later, with the exhaust switched from factory chrome to black? Iíd sure like to see as many pictures as possible to help me make this decision. Black FLTRUís only if I may be so selective. I love the look of the Specials, but Iím strictly an Ultra guy, and need to see if a change to black would look as good as I envision it on my bike. Thank you to anyone who takes the time and trouble.

I say do it if you like it. I have seen blacked out Ultras, look bad ass.

My '16 FLTRU is blacked out, but it's CBP not black.

Are you considering only blacking out the exhaust and leaving the rest chrome?

Well, Iíve selectively done a few things. Levers, mirrors, passenger pegs, highway pegs. Took off the trim around the ignition switch and painted it semi-gloss black. Refused to pay $70+ for a piece of plastic. Iím going to put black CD Fillerz on the back as soon as they come in. I just donít want to totally black it out, leave the engine alone. But Iíd love to see what the black exhaust would look like, without any changes to the engine on either side. Still hoping for some photos.

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but this is a black exhaust on a black RGU. Sorry about pictures being sideways, still do not know how to make them straight on this forum.

Thank you very much for the photos. Yes, frustrating they look sideways on the thumbnail, then stretch out distorting them so I canít really get a good look. Maybe they would transfer better in a PM? Anyway, thank you so much for taking your time for my question, sir.
