Choice For the New '19

So I finally got to see my new ride last night and have spent many nights pondering which exhaust to get. I've always been one to steer away from whatever the masses seem to get. I see V&H and Rinehart everywhere. I'm not saying they arent good systems, because they are proven, tried and true. I wanted something different.

So I decided to go with the D&D XCAT 2:2 - Black

https://danddexhaust.com/harley/touring/17-19-xcat-2-2

w/ black mufflers and slash cuts.

Paired with the HD heavy breather and PV tuned.

Can't wait to see how it comes out. They're keeping it over the winter to do the work and a couple other things but I will post again once I get some seat time with it.

Anyone have experience with the XCAT system??

I gotta say that is one pricy system. Did you get any kind of deal on it? I haven't heard of anyone using their duals but the 2-1 is the fat cat's ass as you may be aware of so hopefully this system gets you some good results. I'm interested to see your review of their 2-2 system.

As of now, I don't think I can get a deal on it, lol. But they are closed until 1/7 so I will be calling to ask for sure.

I had Drago's exhaust on my '12 and it was close in cost.

And their 2:1's are the shit, but I love the dual output look on a bagger and can't justify a ghost pipe. It's like false advertising. haha

I've had Drago's header pipes with real CFR mufflers for a few years then switched to a D&D Fat Cat, Loooove the quality and power from the 2 in 1 pipe. I'll never go back, plus I dig the "different" exhaust note that is less common with the 2 in 1 pipe.

2012 Road Glide Custom Vivid Black named "Becky" with a simple motto "If it came from the factory like that, it doesn't belong on the bike!"

No experience, but applaud your decision to be different.
