Has anyone given the Rinehart 2-1 a try yet? According to the description it's a stepped header and offer with some baffle sizes that are common sizes. Been thinking about making a change from my 2-1-2, but can't do the sound of the D&D and the Dracula has sure got expensive. When you add the ghost pipe they get really expensive. The pics of the 2-1 look like I could just use my existing Rinehart slip on as a ghost. Any experience with this pipe would be appreciated.
I ran this pipe on my 08 SG and am seriously considering it now. I just heard in person the D&D and a Bassani B4 Roadrage. Both too loud for me. The Rinehart was probably one of the best sounding systems I had. And it added that low end grunt and pull that I like. I am only hesitating because I have bag extensions and wont like the vacant left side look. Been considering putting an LED light in there to fill the hole.
Thank you. I have bag extensions also but currently running V&H 2-1-2 with Rinehart slip-on. Hope to just leave the left side muffler and crossover mounted on the bike to work as a ghost
Also. I put that pipe.on in 09. Traded the bike in 15. Looked damn near like the day I put it on. Chrome held up great for 35k miles. All kinds of weather.
The Bassani on my 19 sounds great. loud enough on the throttle, decel sounds great and at speed it lays down a nice tone. Good luck on picking your noise.....see what i did there,....
i agree. i have Bassani Road Rage on my '09 and while it wails while accelerating, it settles down a lot when at a constant throttle position. Good luck.
Seems like a good idea. Let us know how it works out for you. On a side note. If it doesn't work out. You could just sell me that 09 serg. And that would solve the problem.

Man that would solve the problem quick...lol. Of all the bikes I have owned over the last 40 years this 09 still has to be my favorite. I have never own a scoot with 100,000 on the clock but this one will be it.
Not sure if you are specifically wanting the rinehart. Or just some form of a 2/1. But one could unhook the cross under pipe. And cap off the exit opening on the head pipe. Or maybe even fill in the cross under pipe with something. Essentially making the left side muffler. A ghost pipe.
Was really looking more at a 2-1 system. Running the V&H power duel now with the Rineharts and the head pipe has developed a couple cracks. Not a big fan of the sound of the D&D and the Dracula has sure gotten expensive in the last couple years, then add a ghost and it get real pricey. The Rinehart is several hundred cheaper and might could use the existing left side if it would match.
I had the rineharts 2 into 1 on my 15 RG standard (the bike in my sigpic). I loved them, liked the sound and the power. I had them in black, I was a little disappointed in the way the black held up. seemed like it started to "fade" a little quicker then I thought it should have.
