Nope, just two bolts and the bracket. The V&H pipe mounts to the same point, just uses a different bracket. That way on all Harleys.

I guess the motor co, just figured harley guys will just buy the SE version when they crack. Something has to give in a 2 part system when connected hard mounted.

Same thing happened to mine on my 2012, broke in the same spot as yours. Mine had around 90,000 mile on it when it broke, V&H did not replace it because they had been on the bike for 7 years.

I've had both pipes crack on the 2012 RGU.
I never contacted V&H.
I scrape my pipes in the corners and I've bottomed out both sides at the back of the mufflers.
I just welded them back up. I currently have 95K on the bike and the pipes went on when I bought it.

Right side failed in 2015, left side was earlier this year.
Both took a weld and are still running well on the bike.
