Primary fluid change. Funnel required?

Folks-
The 1000 mile fluid change was just accomplished on the 2015 Road Glide Special. Syn 3 was installed in the primary, transmission, and engine. (No change was noticed in performance or smoothness of shifting.)

Is there a special long funnel that allows this process to be easier? It seems a funnel was available for servicing the primary? Where would I find this tool?

Thank you!

Go to your local auto parts store and pick up a small narrow funnel for a buck or 2. No need to go to HD for a funnel

Agreed with above ,its crazy to spend that much a MOCO when u can buy small funnel at any numbers of places a lot cheaper n can use for other basic funnel needs in the process. But to each their own . The MOCO gets enough of our $$$$$!!!

I just lean it over and have the wife pour, but any small funnel will do.

Get the 20w50 out of the transmission and put in 75w90 or 75w140 gear lube in and it will improve the shifting. I have been using Mobil 1 75w140 or Valvoline 75w140 full synthetic gear lube in my trans since 2008 and I haven't had any problem yet.
The transmission is a gear box not a engine so use gear oil instead of engine oil.
Also HD SYN 3 oil is a synthetic blend and it is NOT a full synthetic oil. IMO full synthetic oil is best for the engine.

+1^^^
A long stem funnel from the auto parts is what I use, I think it was only a $1 or $2 and it works great.

If you don't want to get a funnel you could cut the side out of a plastic jug and make a piece to slide into the derby cover opening. This will give you something to pour into.
