Remember, Victory made a really nice bike too, now they don't, and have nearly zero dealership support. Yes, they have signs hanging on buildings, but I'd have to doubt them stocking much.
The only Indian that says anything to me is the Scout, which is virtually useless since I live 20 miles from anywhere.

They all have cooling to the heads now. Oil or coolant. And I suspect that there will be some issues that pop up as the oil cooled M8 heads get some age on them. There are already some burnt head gasket failures on the rear jugs with the oil cooled heads. Lack of cooling being the issue.

I'm more of an Evolution and Twin Cam fan than M8.
I have covered a lot of miles - and the bikes are dirt cheep.
Go shopping.

The new M8 style pump seems to work fine with no issue, I’m planning to switch to it this winter.
The kit is surely less expensive than change the bike.....

The Evolutions and Twin Cams are dirt cheap, can reasonably be hopped up and retain reliability.

This is just another Milwaukee nightmare.
Old bikes don't have oil transfer issues or water pumps.
I blame it on H1b Visas. They have engineers who did not grow up on motorcycles.

There are TC bikes with the pumps. I have one.

Not everyone likes to go backwards in technology.

Discussion is about the bikes with pumps. Not really about bikes without and your opinion of the ones that do. Thanks for your input.

UPDATE 2: It was finally determined the thermostat went out again. No firm time frame to fix it because they are short hose clamps. WTF? How special can the clamp be? I'm with Rob-B...I'm going back to air cooled.

The Motor Company does not have the "technology" of liquid cooled bikes mastered.
Hence, the thread.
Evidently, they can't even keep oil in the right place with the M8s.
