Angry Leaking oil problem

Has any one experienced residual oil coming from the breather and splattering every where. I checked the mounting bolts for the breather and they have the oversize drain holes in them. Dealer says it happens at higher speeds for extended period of time, (ie Indianapolis to Milwaukee at 80 miles per hour) This happens on my RG & my wife's trike. I have added a sponge inside the breather cover on the bottom side to catch the oil and keep it off of my motor & pipes. This does a good job but I have to clean the sponge about every two weeks.

Yep, been one of the traits of the TC motor since day 1. A couple things will help.
1. Leave the oil a bit low, down near the center or below of the normal range on the stick.

2. If leaving the level low doesn't help, a self adhesive women's pad inside the bottom of the air cleaner cover will catch most of it.

My 96 motor never did this. The mechanic I use said some blow buy on the 103 motor is normal.

What's the Harley part number? Do they come in a Screaming Eagle version?

Hear it's standard with Victories & Indian MC also prevents saddle soreness when applied elsewhere

As said above, keeping the oil level a little low helps a lot. A folded paper towel also works on trips if you don't have anything else to stick in the cleaner cover

Got my '13 RGU back from the 1K service and on a cold engine the engine oil was above the hot line on the dipstick. Pulled about a half qt. out seems to be okay. Now winter is setting in and the bikes are all tucked in. The other bikes are about 1/2 inch from the full line and no "blow by" on those.
