They all will leak eventually regardless of being off or not. Also you dont have to bleed if you take the cap off just dont hit the lever. If im not mistaken i think the MoCo has a newly designed gasket and or cap because of them leaking

I had the same problem on my 2012 RGC, bought the new "redesigned" gasket and problem solved ...just a couple of bucks at the local stealer.

Mine leaked too. Like said earlier, they make a new gasket and lid. This solves problem.

No bleeding necessary. Just get the master cylinder as level as possible before removing lid.

I never had a issue with my 08 having a leaking master cylinder in the front or back. What year models did this problem start?

My 2012 leaked and I took it in and warranty covered it.

New gasket/cap is the way to go if the leak is around the top. Mine leaked around where the line ties into the line. Deer strike bent something so the dealer replaced the entire master cylinder. It was good right after the collision but failed on the way to. Get a damage appraisal. Nothing like grabbing a handful of brake and nothing happens. Always use both anyway to start a stop so it wasn't a panic situation.

Red Pepper/Magnetic Grey CVO with KST black 14" apes and a quick detach TP.
