State Farm paid the full amount but I have been told by the shop ordering parts from Harley takes a long time. Bike still in the shop.....78 days and counting

Yeah, it takes so long as you have to wait for your particular part to be painted in the right color from the factory. Took me almost 6 months to get a front fender for my 2005 FLHTI. Much quicker turnaround to go to a body shop that has access to Harley paint codes and let them repair parts vice waiting for a brand new one.

Bummer,,, yet another reason to have more than one.

Going away from the dealer is the fastest way to get'er done but if you have a note on it most insurance companies won't allow it.

There once was a biker named Double-Fat. Who rode all over like a cafeined gnat.
When he once tried some Frenchy booze, His skills improved the more he wooz'd-
And he was heard to mumble, "Dood- that's where it's AT!"Uncle Ernie-4-24-2011
