SE Race Tuner

I am starting my winter project and was going with the SE Race Tuner, SE 211 cams and V&H power duals.

I was just curious as to why no one seems to be using the Race Tuner?

13 Ultra, -w- slip ons, otherwise stock.

I am going to be using the SEPST when I get my bike back from HD for a warranty lower end rebuild. It will be interesting to learn this thing.

I see a lot of folks on forums that use the SE tuner. Personally, from what I read the Power Vision seemed like it would be easier to work with so that's what I chose for my last two bikes. But the SE is very capable and I still may go with it when I get around to modding the RG.

Happiness is a warm motorcycle.

I have a SERT and I'm happy with it. The biggest reason I went that route is the shop that dynoed my bike suggested it. He used them alot and I trusted his opinion.

I use this on my road glide custom and had one on my dyna fatbob. They are great. Never had an issue and have fantastic tunes on both bikes from the dyno. I never hear of people having problems with the screamin eagle tuner but I often see people having issues with every other tuner.

If you are going to be constantly tuning and retuning your bike on your own, without a dyno, then the other options make sense. I knew after I went stage 2 I was not going to do any more tuning as I would not need it until I do motor work. Which case I will do a re-tune with the SE tuner using a dyno.

That is just about exactly why I'm going with the SERT. "My" mechanic is a long time HD employee and he is probably comfortable with tuning the combo I'm going with. It makes sense to go with what you know so when it gets on the Dyno he will be able to wring out every ounce of power / torque out of my 103.

I went with the SERT after an abortive attempt with the Fi-2000, and couldn't be happier. Have a thunder header and SE heavy breather. 81hp/103tq

My bike came with a SERT when I bought it. I've downloaded the software but have not bought the cables to go with it. It just sits in the bottom of the saddlebag. It does have an auto tune feature from what I've nosed around but I'd rather leave it to someone that knows what they're doing with it.

I spoke to a local tuner on Monday,he very is respected as a tuner in our area,we talked cams ,comp, heads and tuners,he has for years always used SERT's,but he said that as of late he has been tuning with the TTS,he says it has a couple of features that the SERT dosent have, but he said the SERT is a great tuner,so after talking to him i will be going with the TTS.

2012 RG Vivid Black,contrast Anarchy wheels,SE air cleaner,cobra tuner,Thunderheader ,diamond cut heads and clys,Fueling Reaper 574 cams,this is just a starting point.

I have used the se tuner for years and have change upgrades in the motors during its use. I don't mind paying for a dyno tune to perfect the performance out of the bike
